Testsite, Austin

Testsite, co-founded with Laurence Miller, 2003

In 2003 I collaborated with Laurence Miller on conceiving and building Fluent~Collaborative, Testsite and the e-newsletter Might be Good, as a way to provoke new entry points to engage with contemporary art in and for Austin. Testsite makes it possible for an artist and a writer to work together towards a common goal—not necessarily a collaboration—but more like parallel permutations of an idea or form. Testsite was borne out of a desire to re-create that productive moment of ‘early work’ for those who may not have that luxury anymore.
